An easy loop hike on our property will take you through landscaped lawns and old-growth redwoods along the Big Sur River, including past the second-largest redwood in Big Sur, “Grandmother Pfeiffer”. All of our guests are encouraged to take a stroll, or relax and connect with nature in the Adirondack chairs we have set out with views of the river.

There are also many beautiful public lands nearby that offer a variety of different experiences, from sandy beaches to rocky shores, coastal bluffs, oak forest, grassland, and riparian canyons with redwoods, willows and sycamore. Attractions below are listed in order from north to south along Highway 1.
